How you got involved in cycling:: I grew up alpine skiing and racing and everyone that I skied with were mountain biking in the summers. So, since they were, I had to also. My dad and sister started then too.
Occupation:: Barista with a Bachelors Degree and teaching certificate, and I want to be a bike racer.
Hobbies:: Running, alpine skiing, hiking, biking, rock climbing, and anything else that involves the great outdoors.
Favorite Restaurant:: I do not care to go out to eat. If I do, it would have to be a good restaurant (no fast food), or I would rather stay home and eat good old home cooking.
Favorite way to eat strawberries:: HHmmm…..I do not really like strawberries, but I have eaten them in the wild on top of the Northway peak, Crystal Mtn, WA. Or I will eat them after a good bike ride.
Favorite Actor/Actress:: Tom Cruise, Denzel Washington
Funniest Teammate:: Henry Kramer. He always has something to say either to the wait person, flight attendant, etc. You never know what it is going to pertain to.
Most memorable Cycling Moment:: There are too many memorable cycling moments from success to failure, sun to snow, regional to national, rides and races. That is why I love to ride my bike. Good old memories!
Role Model:: (cyclist) Anne Knapp. She is my best friend back home that I compete against, train with and also just ride and have a great old time. She is always positive as a friend and successful in her work or play.

Kind of music you listen to:: When I choose to listen to music I'll listen to pretty much anything except country.
